Chrystal D. Giles provides a delightful author event experience for students. Her author chat invites students into her book, writing process, and inspiration and she gladly answers their many questions. I highly recommend inviting her to talk to your students you won’t be disappointed!
— Tiffany James - School Outreach Specialist, New York Public Library
Having Chrystal come out provided representation that they typically do not get to see. Your personal story as well as your book shined a light on their own stories that they thought they were going through alone. Just a wonderful experience and memory they will forever hold.
— Danielle Wynter - Program Coordinator, Belmont Ave Boys & Girls Club
Chrystal’s virtual presentation was engaging and interactive. There was something for all readers and students in her presentation, and I would highly recommend Chrystal to anyone looking to schedule an author visit for their classroom or school!
— Constance Spyropoulos - Middle School ELA teacher
Chrystal’s presentation was wonderfully engaging for our Middle School Students. She connected with them through casual storytelling and referencing current trends that speaks to them. We loved that she shared her journey and how she came to writing. We frequently relay to our students that their life path does not have to be linear and that it’s ok if it’s full of peaks and valleys.
